We have now just sold our house, again with Sophie as our agent and she has been absolutely exemplary in managing everything and everyone, with great support from Andreia!<br>If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agents in the area I would definitely recommend Bennett Holmes and Sophie in particular.

Lee is a relatively new addition to the team, and he has been a fantastic one.<br><br>He has taken care of issues for me in a way I haven’t experienced in the past. He’s extremely responsive, proactive, and has a real “get things done” mentality. Rather than just acknowledging a problem, he follows it through and makes sure it actually gets resolved, usually very quickly.<br><br>Lee has genuinely been one of the best agents I’ve dealt with. Thank you for your continuous support and for making such a difference.

7th Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

17th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)A Fantastic Experience with Ellis & Co<br><br>We’ve had a really positive experience with Ellis & Co, and in particular, we’d like to thank Khalid for all his help and support throughout the whole process of moving into our flat.<br><br>Recently, we had an emergency with one of the sockets that started popping. It was already Friday evening, the office was closed, and most places were out of hours. Despite this, Khalid went above and beyond to find an electrician for us, and the problem was fixed in no time.<br><br>It really shows how much the agency cares about its tenants. The communication is always excellent, and whenever we’ve needed help, they’ve been there for us.<br><br>A big thank you to Khalid and the whole team at Ellis & Co for your outstanding service. We highly recommend them! ?????

This included taking my calls at all sorts of times She really cared that the sale was eventually successful and went 200% to make that happen whilst retaining a sense of humour. 1st Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Landlords Beware, I was charged for a second year commission for the same tenants, this had not been made clear in the let only Terms of business instead it was put on a separate invoice in small writing at the bottom that a 6% charge will apply if the tenants stayed on, this is in contrast to the initial email I received from the director advising Let only fee will be paid once upfront. I was expecting to pay only £250 for a contract renewal instead I was charged £1680 for the second year. They are not transparent with their fees. They referred to additional assistance that had been provided during the tenancy. However, I did not request or agree to purchase any services beyond the Let Only instruction, and I was never informed that any assistance offered would later be relied upon as justification for the second-year commission such as rent increase or reconciliation of rent, this was undertaken voluntarily by them. This experience has highlighted the importance of transparency when landlords are entering into contracts.
21st Aug 2026 (20 days ago)An estate agent that actually puts the legwork into selling your property, and are very, very good at it. Having had an underwhelming experience with a national agency they were in night and day in their approach thanks to Graham and Michaela. Frank advice about what I needed to do before my flat was listed. Brilliant marketing materials and stunning photography. I admit, I wasn't sure if I wanted to sell then(!) but they attracted serious viewings and I got an offer I couldn't refuse a week after my property was listed which I wasn't expecting in this market. Michaela then stayed on side throughout the flat sale, checking things were moving, liaising on questions and offering support (and reassurance!). All the way to completion. These guys know the market and don't take their clients for granted. If you're lucky enough to be selling in their catchment area, I don't know why you'd use anybody else. Totally earned their (very reasonable) commission.
