14th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)I have been extremely disappointed with the service I received from Chestertons Fulham Lettings.<br><br>The most serious issue occurred when the tenant welcome pack served at the start of the tenancy contained documentation for an entirely different property belonging to another landlord client. This was a significant administrative error and raised serious concerns about Chestertons’ document handling procedures and data protection standards. As a landlord, I expect confidential information to be handled with the utmost care, and this mistake severely undermined my confidence in the agency’s professionalism.<br><br>The problems did not end there. When the tenancy was renewed in 2024, Chestertons served the tenants with an expired Gas Safety Certificate as part of the tenancy documentation instead of a valid certificate which was present. This error later had significant consequences. When a Section 21 notice was served in April 2026, it was found to be invalid, resulting in unnecessary delays, additional legal costs, and considerable stress.<br><br>Towards the end of the tenancy, the tenants also began paying their rent late. I was disappointed by the lack of urgency and proactive support from Chestertons in dealing with the situation. I felt that my interests as a landlord were not being protected, and communication often lacked the sense of ownership and accountability I expected from a professional managing agent.<br><br>As a landlord, I rely on my letting agent to ensure legal compliance, accurate documentation, and competent tenancy management. Unfortunately, my experience fell well below those expectations. The administrative mistakes, concerns regarding confidential documentation, failure to provide compliant tenancy paperwork, and the impact these errors had on the possession process have left me with little confidence in the service provided.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend Chestertons Fulham Lettings to other landlords.

23rd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)My fiance and I recently had the pleasure to meet Morgan Cerasoli (M&P Charlton). She helped us find a flat to rent in Charlton and we had an excellent experience with her. We were looking to move from Eastbourne to London/ Charlton and had absolutely no idea what the area was like or where to start looking but Morgan has been so incredibly helpful and professional and made the entire process so easy for us. She took all or wishes and budget into consideration and understood exactly what we were looking for. Morgan was also always on hand and quickly replied to our questions and messages, she even pointed out local shops and facilities to us as well as transport links into Central London. With her help we managed to find a wonderful new home. I‘m glad we decided to rent with Marsh and Parsons and I would highly recommend getting in touch with Morgan if you want an agent who is genuinely trying find you a nice home and is not trying to upsell you.

She was always on hand when we have had any questions about the property we have signed, and was always there to answer questions and help nerves. Really helpful and would recommend!

My wife and I have been on our search since July 2025 and Jake has been there every step of the way. His knowledge of the area is exceptional and he comes across very professional and relatable. Always makes time to catch up and provide market insights and is very transparent. 10th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)Our experience renting through Chase Buchanan was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about tenant protection and property management standards.<br><br>During our two-year tenancy at Haygreen Close in Kingston upon Thames we experienced major maintenance issues, including a leaking ceiling caused after plumbing work in the bathroom above the living room. For several months we had to keep buckets in the living room to collect water and mould eventually developed on the ceiling. This situation was particularly worrying because my wife was pregnant at the time.<br><br>We also experienced aggressive behaviour from a neighbour, including shouting during the night, throwing bottles and violently banging on our door. We reported this to the agency but felt that our safety concerns were not taken seriously.<br><br>UK housing law, including the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, requires landlords and managing agents to ensure that properties are safe and suitable for tenants to live in. Prolonged damp and mould issues can pose serious health risks.<br><br>Now, after we moved out following two years of tenancy and consistently paying rent on time, the agency is attempting to make multiple deductions from our deposit. If necessary we will pursue the matter through the tenancy deposit protection scheme and seek advice from organisations such as Citizens Advice and Shelter, which support tenants facing disputes.<br><br>We would strongly advise future tenants to carefully document all communication and property conditions when dealing with this agency.

I’m Austrian and it wasn’t easy having the first experience buying a property in a foreign country with a foreign language. Very efficient when they want your business but after that just ghost you.
