The team at Hoopers Agency was also efficient and supportive, ensuring that all paperwork and arrangements were handled smoothly and on time. Even when I was delayed, she moved viewings around to help. She’s personable and easy to reach on WhatsApp and via call when needed. Easy, digestible advice received and very reliable.

14th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)When moat housing took over maintenance/repairs they were all for responses quickly & accurately. While I only trust certain maintenance workers with 100% expertise. I now have experienced customers service very poor & lacking respect for their tenants. With a visit recently about having new windows & doors I found the approach was very frustrating & all one sided to say the least.. we was left very distraught & the anxiety levels pushed to 100%. We now find ourselves not confident with this company with regards have been in our house many yrs...with them having 10yrs contract left I hope they can improve the way they used to be and find that also works carried out are of high standard and respect to tenants always not all one-sided..

The amount of work behind the scenes to keep everything on track was immense, and their persistence truly made the difference. What stood out most was the additional support they provided by sharing insights and promoting through social media, which was invaluable during such a difficult market. Their commitment to quality and personal service really shone through and gave us confidence every step of the way. On a personal note, we are very grateful to have been introduced to Hunters which was an extremely difficult time for us. Their professionalism and genuine care made the experience much easier, and we honestly appreciate everything they did. James Poll and his team marketed our property and managed the presentation, photography and viewings smoothly. We were kept informed of viewings and offers and we were advised on the best way to move forward with the elements of the sale process. In a difficult market, James managed to facilitate a sale which suited both parties. Oaks proved to be good with their communication with us as well as their professionalism.

18th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)Valuation accuracy was slightly off, with a price reduction needed. However market conditions are tough with a lot of uncertainty and they were transparent with this. Initial communication on coming to the market was not great, with my main contact having to repeatedly be chased for updates. But when we got into a flow, communication improved. However first impressions count. Local market knowledge is excellent and with a smallish catchment area and good inter-office network I felt I was well represented.
25th Feb 2026 (4 weeks ago)I wrote the review below some 3 yrs ago and I would now like to update it as follows:<br><br>I have had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a different Lettings Agent as that property unfortunately falls outside of Neilson & Bauer’s territory.<br><br>This has only reinforced my belief that Neilson & Bauer, led by their down to earth, tell it as it is, legendary, Don Lacovara are THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS.<br><br>I have had to repeatedly turn to Don’s good nature and ask him about the various different and somewhat frustrating approaches and ways of doing business this other agent has and Don has obliged by calmly guiding me through this turmoil.<br><br>I think it is about time that Neilson & Bauer expand their regional reach.<br><br>Written 3 yrs agp:<br>I am always taken aback at how professional, efficient and effective Neilson Bauer are in getting the job done. Don in charge of lettings is my go to person when I need a flat let.
