The agent Debbie was really patient, friendly, not pushy at all and very supportive around any questions. I fell in love with the property and the rest in history. I am really happy that my property journey was with Goodfellows who have brilliant and responsive agents.

They were always approachable, kept us updated, chased things when needed, and were proactive in helping to overcome the many challenges we faced. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their dedication and persistence played a huge part in getting the purchase over the line.<br><br>Buying a property can be stressful, but having a team that genuinely cares and works tirelessly on your behalf makes all the difference. We can’t thank Emily, Jak, and everyone at Sinclair Hamilton enough for their professionalism, support, and commitment. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
18th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)We were renting a flat with Avrasons for six years and had a great experience overall. Mat, our property manager, has been very responsive and highly effective in dealing with all of our queries about repairs etc. Usually comes round to check himself and then arranges for the contractors to come in and fix things. Honest communications and very accommodating on our requests. Much more friendly and human approach, especially compared to some other big letting agencies in London that don't seem to care about their tenants. Would highly recommend.

7th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)AWFUL experience. If I could give Portico 0 starts I would, I truly could not recommend them less. The lack of communication was the first and most prevalent issue throughout our Tennancy (which was cut short due to a hazardous mould issue which was flagged many times before and during the Tennancy). My flatmate and I spent hours and hours of our time trying to draw attention to and rectify the multiple issues with the property, some more serious than others, on many occasions we were ignored and on some occasions the portico employees were actually very rude. I will not name names but a lady in the Highbury office in particular. The ordeal with portico cost us a great deal financially but also in terms of stress, not to mention the health implications of living in a damp flat for 5+ months during the height of winter, in an uninsulated room, where the radiator fell off the wall and the heating did not work initially. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but I seriously believe people should avoid this service. Would not wish it upon others, particularly when you are overpaying for a property and working hard to do so!<br>The issues were never ending , and I was constantly in awe of the audacity of Portico to try and charge us for various things that we flagged as issues many times to<br>them and were not our fault. If you have the misfortune of using Portico, I reccomend you keep a record of your engagement with them.<br>Other problems included a gas leak for the first four months of the tenancy, the flat not being cleaned before our arrival, marks all over the place, broken kitchen appliances and shelves, the list goes on.<br>I hope portico work to improve their service and treatment of their clients.<br>Please note the is experience was between August 2024 and March 2025

I’m buying my property with Hunters, and due to an asset management company being involved, it was so difficult to get the information from them! The seller’s solicitor and the asset company were SO difficult to contact, especially since the seller’s solicitor didn’t reply to my solicitor's request for information and didn’t even answer my questions. My completion date should be in early August, but I’ve just got it done recently in September. However, I felt so helpless in this situation, but I was also so glad, because of Bradley!!! He helped me a lot! I would say I can't even get the key in September without him! He's so patient, helpful and working hard!!! He essentially chased the seller’s solicitor and the asset management company nearly every single day, and had me copied, keeping me up to date. He helped me with my multiple housing viewings, and answered my questions about the property on time, even when he was on holiday or had a day off!!! When I felt helpless, he encouraged me and actually did things to make the asset company and the seller’s solicitor reply to me more quickly. He basically followed things up every single day, which I was so much appreciated!!! The world really needs people like him!! The best estate agent I've ever seen!!!- 8th Sep 2026 (20 days ago)I was shown round a flat in Hackney Wick by Saskia who promptly handled a few unforeseen key codes and got in touch with the landlord to gain access. She has been brilliantly responsive throughout the process and handled all my queries, keeping me updated at every stage. A fantastic, speedy process managed very well, all the best to Saskia in the future.

She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and tailored the viewings accordingly, making thoughtful suggestions that were aligned with our preferences.<br><br>Seta made the whole viewing experience feel easy and enjoyable, and her knowledge and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and helpful sales agent. Thank you.

25th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Good fees offered as just opened. Initially, they listed 10% below the agreed valuation price despite agreed price being on the contract. Claimed they’d discussed the price internally and a miscommunication. Republished at the correct price. Multiple errors in the advert on Rightmove which were raised with the team. Even after months on the market errors (as bad as the number of bathrooms) had not been corrected. Many attempts to drop the agreed valuation asking price by 10% in the first 2 weeks and further after 1 month claiming it should have sold already. Lots of viewings but low ball offers (-20%). After all the listing errors we had real concerns over quality and with a lack of respectable offers we decided to move to another well known agent in the area. No reply or acceptance of our cancellation email so we had to call. Within 2 weeks with the new agent we had an offer accepted with one of their long term clients just below asking price. I can’t recommend devenports based on my experience. They are a new outfit and this comes with teething issues.

From start to finish, she went above and beyond for us. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always on hand to answer our questions. When communication with our own solicitors was lacking, Ashliegh acted as a conduit between us and the buyer. Her updates reassured us that everything was moving in the right direction. Selling a home with a newborn baby is no easy task, but Ashliegh made the whole process infinitely less stressful. She is an absolute credit to the Barnard Marcus team, and we are very grateful.
