24th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)I am new to using Martyn Gerrard but have been using estate agents for many years. My experience with MG started with Nick 'the estate agent' from their Hampstead office. As you can imagine one has a quite distinct picture of estate agents -- however from the very beginning Nick was different, helpful, useful and honest. I found that refreshing and easy to interact with. We even found what would have been a great flat at a good price, I ummed and aghed, and Nick politely said that this was a good opportunity and I shouldn't procrastinate too long -- naturally I ignored everything he advised and true to form I lost the opportunity as I was sucking my thumb. Move over to the next available find that came across our plate. Nick was helpful in expediting the viewing and making sure that it fitted my available time. This time when Nick said that this is another good find take it I didn't hesitate and finalised immediately. Come the next day, Saturday, and I was a little unfamiliar with what for me is a new referencing entity . I walked into their East Finchley office as I was struggling to use GoodLord their referencing interface. Enter Alexia, the star of the show at their East Finchley office. She helps me understand, login register and setup all that is required to finalise with most of what is needed from the GoodLord. She was truly God sent in giving up her time on Saturday to make sure I had everything an everything was in place so that I can finalise in my application for the property and ease into the rest of the weekend. Now we all know moving is a massive pain, however, sometimes we can mitigate and minimise it. So thank you Alexia, thank you Nick and thank you Martyn Gerrard for all your help.

All of the team were fantastically supportive, and Tate in particular went the extra mile to make the process as smooth as it could have been under the circumstances. They handled viewings really well and helped us to secure an offer that matched our expectations. They did their very best to expedite the sale, and ensured we were fully informed at all times. I’ve absolutely no hesitation in recommending KFH Forest Hill.

3rd Mar 2026 (24 days ago)Aviod!!!!! Checkin all good, but the property management team is useless. We had a moulding dishwasher and takes weeks to get it fixed (by us contacting the provider). They will try anything to grab your deposit , we are disputing on DPS

He was professional, responsive and extremely knowledgeable throughout my mortgage process. As a first-time buyer, I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and how proactive he was in keeping things moving. His calm and supportive approach made a stressful process feel much more manageable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
25th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)I recently dealt as a residential property buyer with Joe at this Foxton branch and I have nothing but praise. He was very accommodating in arranging viewings matching my availability and followed up my inquiry quickly. Submitting an offer to purchase was straightforward. All communicatio were prompt, which frankly is what matters the most to me. I can't speak for selling a property, but fir buying I can certainly recommend this branch.- 7th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agent. I called to arrange viewings for three different properties and was told they would phone me to confirm, but I never received any follow-up. Four days later, I found out the properties had already been let. This has happened at other branches as well, and the repeated lack of communication feels unprofessional and frustrating. Based on my experience, it also seemed like certain enquiries were consistently delayed or ignored, which left me feeling unfairly treated. Overall, I cannot recommend this agency due to their lack of follow-through and inconsistent service.
7th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)I rarely leave reviews, but our experience with Metro Village was easily the worst renting experience we’ve had. When we viewed the flat, Nick told us the main window — which was completely shattered — would be repaired before we moved in. Once we moved in and followed up, the agency said there was no record of that agreement and the repair never happened. Our letting manager Kevin was extremely difficult and unprofessional to deal with from the start. Emails regularly went unanswered, calls were avoided, and it was very clear he had no interest in helping tenants — despite us paying close to £30,000 per year in rent. Instead of helping resolve issues, he consistently sided with the landlord. Throughout the tenancy, important repairs were ignored and communication was extremely poor. It often felt impossible to get any clear response or action. Another frustrating issue was that the flat contained old items left by the agency (including used bedding and broken things) that we were told we couldn’t remove. This made it feel like the flat wasn’t really ours to live in freely, despite paying full rent. The most concerning part was the deposit process. We were presented with a long list of charges for small items — things like £5 for a lightbulb or £18 for a spatula that had clearly been used long before our tenancy. Many of these charges felt excessive and difficult to justify. If you rent through them, I strongly recommend using the official deposit protection scheme adjudication process if there are disputes. Once the charges had to be formally reviewed and justified, several of them suddenly changed. Even after agreeing the final amount, it still took weeks of chasing emails to actually receive the deposit back. Overall this was a very frustrating experience with poor communication, unresolved issues, and a difficult deposit process. I hope this review helps future renters make an informed decision.
20th May 2025 (10 mo. ago)We sold our property with great help from staff @ Winkworths Kingsbury , I liased with Lauren,Shilpa,&Kevin each one of them kept me up to date @all times, they were very professional nothing was too much trouble for them & they went that extra mile , also worked very closely with our solicitor whom was also excellent Manisha Gadhia @ Mills Chody ! I was delighted @ how quick hey found us a buyer .I would recommend them to anybody as we were very pleased & grateful! Thanks Breeda

6th Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)They will not stop emailing me despite asking multiple staff to remove my details from their lists, and blocking multiple email addresses of theirs. I was a tenant in one of their properties many years ago and now constantly receive emails asking if I want to sell this property despite only being a tenant.

The process had its challenges and took longer than expected, but the team were supportive throughout. A special thanks to Michael, whose excellent negotiation skills and genuine commitment made a real difference. Highly appreciated. We live miles away and remote sale worked well for us. The process was a success with good communication. Will definitely recommend them.

They were thorough, professional, responsive and really pleasant to deal with. They also unusually got to know our unique property really well and showed a good understanding of who the right buyer would be. Adam helped us hold our nerve when the property didn't sell as quickly as we hoped due to the difficult Autumn 2025 market and advised us correctly that there would be a bounce in the new year when we got 3 offers. Catherine was incredibly diligent and proactive in moving us from offer to exchange in 8 weeks. They went above and beyond. Incredible.
