Good communication, responsive and calm, and it felt like they were genuine about wanting to help us. Everyone they put us in touch with for the purchase process performed very well. I happily recommend them.

They kept us updated regularly and followed up on everything until the sale was completed.<br><br>Brook, Richard and Evan were highly professional throughout the entire process. Evan and Richard handled a very complicated issue during the sale with professionalism and expertise, making a stressful situation much easier to manage.<br><br>We bought and sold our house through Barnard and Marcus, and on both occasions their service was excellent. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

From my initial viewing with Ayesha and maintenance queries with Khalid through to the day to day management of the property with Maria I felt they looked after both their client and me as a tenant. Big shout to Maria as she's super responsive and things are often fixed next day if not same day. Should I ever move back to the Golders Green area I won't try another estate agent, Maria's the best

WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.<br><br>Tenant for 3 years and the property management from Leaders was appalling throughout.<br><br>The emergency repairs line is effectively non-existent. If you have an urgent issue outside of normal business hours, good luck getting any meaningful support. This is potentially dangerous when genuine emergency repairs are needed.<br><br>Communication has been consistently dreadful. Every member of staff I dealt with seemed impossible to contact. Emails were poorly written or unanswered, promised callbacks never happened, and issues routinely required repeated chasing. Nobody appeared to take ownership of a problem or follow it through to resolution.<br><br>The Section 21 process was handled badly. There appeared to be no proper checks regarding whether we had actually vacated the property, and now, almost 90 days after moving out, we are being chased for money relating to an unspecified issue. Despite multiple requests, no clear information or evidence has been provided explaining the charge.<br><br>This is all before mentioning the challenges we faced with a consistently difficult landlord. A good managing agent should help resolve issues between tenants and landlords professionally and efficiently, but throughout our tenancy we felt unsupported and left to deal with problems ourselves.<br><br>After three years as tenants, this has been an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor communication, poor organisation, and a complete lack of accountability.

More or less 0 communication from them.Do not let your property with them, as soon as they sign you up, they don't care about you (landlord) they only care in collecting they'r cut . They are not interested in doing property chec ups, etc.... really really terrible evil people at that branch.

4th Feb 2026 (21 weeks ago)I would never recommend someone to work with Johns and Co! I have had a tenant and without fail since the tenant has moved in the rent has never been paid on time. When they found this tenant they called me and pressured me everyday to say this would be a good tenant and how he was a student abroad and the country the student was from a country where they paid for their accommodation. There is not one month I have received this rent on time! I can’t stress enough do not use Johns and Co at no circumstance if you don’t want to be ripped off and stressed out!

19th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Very disappointing experience.<br><br>I paid a holding deposit, completed the referencing and background checks, and was sent a draft tenancy agreement to sign. I was also contacted and informed that everything was fine and that the final contract would be sent shortly.<br><br>Based on these assurances, I gave notice to my current landlord to vacate my existing property.<br><br>After waiting for around two weeks, I unexpectedly received an email indicating that the property was still available. It appeared that the property continued to be marketed despite my holding deposit having been paid, the referencing process having been completed, and a draft contract having already been signed.<br><br>What was most concerning was the lack of communication. At no point was I proactively informed that there was an issue or that the tenancy might not proceed. Had I not received that email and followed up myself, I could have been left without confirmed accommodation after already serving notice on my current home.<br><br>This situation caused significant stress and uncertainty and could have had serious consequences. I would strongly advise future tenants not to give notice on their current property until they have a fully executed tenancy agreement and written confirmation that everything is finalised.
